Wannabe Writer’s Note: This is the re-posting of my Inquisitor’s letter to the wise Athena over at AmbiGaming for her awesome Year of the RPG project. It took like the first 3 months of 2018, but I beat Dragon Age Inquisition after 118+ hours of playing it. And yeah, at least 60 of those hours were spent wandering around and side questing… oops. I also bought the Trespasser DLC, the first DLC I ever bought separately from a game (will likely babble about that at some point too). Anyway, the point of this letter is sum up my Inquisitor’s journey through the main game. Enjoy!
MAJOR FREAKING SPOILER WARNING since I will be summing up the entire main game, complete with screenshots. Now I need a moment to get into character – RAWR! DRAGONS, SMASH! Here we go!

The always amazing Luna over at GamersUnitedGG extended a seasonally appropriate challenge to the blogging community (found here). Basically, you write a post about your personal Game of the Year (that thankfully does NOT need to be released this year, just one you played this year). Then there will be a poll with voting and stuff, which sounds really cool! I’ve decided to partake in this event and this post is my entry.
I’ve already declared my GOTY that came out this year in my last post. That would be Mega Man 11 since it’s the only game from 2018 I actually beat in 2018… BUT since this challenge is open to ANY game I played this year (regardless of launch date), well, that’s hella hard because it’s been quite a gaming year for me, let me tell you.
I honestly have no idea what I’m going to pick out of the 15 great games (and shameful DLC purchases) I finished this year. So… I’m going to stop babbling about it and do a ranked list of games I beat this year. That should help me narrow down my winner. Let’s do this!

Ho, ho, ho, internet!
Last year, the amazing Kim of Later Levels created this awesome Christmas community collaboration event thingy. I was so totally in, then I deleted my old website earlier this year, erasing my old entries of the interwebz forever. Alas!
Basically, there were 12 holiday themed questions bloggers answered on set days, in a format of their own choosing. Yep. I’m still trying to get back in touch with my joyful side after 2018’s craziness… so I’m hyping myself up for that upcoming cheery Christmas event by re-posting my old answers and providing new answers for this year. I’ve changed a lot, man.
Midnight eventually rolls around, which means it’s now time to pick a New Year gaming resolution to see you through the next 12 months. What’s your choice for 2018?

It’s time I got brave enough to officially come out in the form of a blog post, internet. My name is Ellen, and I’m a demiromantic asexual. What exactly does that mean? Well, I’ll happily try to explain it! It’s complicated, but I’ll try. Ahem.
I’m sure everyone is aware of that sexual orientation thing. You are defined as straight if you are sexually attracted to the opposite gender, you are defined as gay if you’re sexually attracted to the same gender, and you are defined as bi if you’re sexually attracted to any gender. But what if you aren’t sexually attracted to anyone? No. There’s nothing wrong with you. That, my friends, is defined as being asexual. And it is indeed a valid sexual orientation representing about 1% of the human population. For my whole life I thought I was broken and that something was wrong with me. While talking with a very good friend I finally discovered what asexuality was early this year, at last explaining a whole lot of things about my life so far, and most importantly, showing me I’m not alone in the way I feel about love.
