Hey! Listen. You know that popular Christmas song called the 12 Days of Christmas? Athena over at AmbiGaming came up with a cool holiday themed community collaboration idea to gamify that kinda-as-annoying-as-Navi song (that we all love or hate). Basically, it’s a countdown list each day that ends up with 364 items, times however many bloggers do this, at the end of the event (something like that… my maths is bad). Be warned that my singing voice is terrible, but here we go, eh!
🎶 On the 11th day of Blogmas, the gamers said to me: List two games you’d improve 🎶
1) The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild – Nope. Not a huge fan of this game, I’m sorry to say. I’m having enough fun to attempt a full playthrough, though. One of the mechanics that annoys me the most is the horrible weapon durability. Everything is pretty much disposable. When I do get something cool, I hate to use it because in like less than 10 hits on something, it’s destroyed with no way to repair it. Ideally, axe the durability mechanic entirely, but even adding ways to repair my beloved weapons would make me happier.
2) Lightning Returns – I love this game! But one thing I’d change would be the doomsday timer. There’s this really cool open world to explore with my shero, but I couldn’t enjoy it with the time limit always looming over my head. Yeah. It does add to the overall “end of the world” feel… but still. I wish Square Enix would’ve added the timer to the hardest difficulty setting only, making it optional for players.
Oh and to continue the Blogmas song:

Be sure to check out the host Goddess of Wisdom’s version of the song thus far (including links to other participants, eh).
