Ho, ho, ho, internet!
Last year, the amazing Kim of Later Levels created this awesome Christmas community collaboration event thingy. I was so totally in, then I deleted my old website earlier this year, erasing my old entries of the interwebz forever. Alas!
Basically, there were 12 holiday themed questions bloggers answered on set days, in a format of their own choosing. Yep. I’m still trying to get back in touch with my joyful side after 2018’s craziness… so I’m hyping myself up for that upcoming cheery Christmas event by re-posting my old answers and providing new answers for this year. I’ve changed a lot, man.
You’re woken from your drunken haze by another frantic call from Santa, who’s worried he’s not going to make all his deliveries in time. Which video game item or vehicle would you recommend for him?
No one wakes Ellen from a drunken haze and gets away with it! After going off on a cranky rant about how Christmas has become too much about gifting and not enough about spending time with those you treasure, I would suggest that Santa go borrow Link’s Ocarina from Majora’s Mask, and then play the Inverted Song of Time. With time flowing slower, he’d likely be able to make all of the deliveries.
Then I would hang up on him and crawl back into bed, because my head would totally still be a mess still. I’m never drinking again… probably… hic.
The person I am today would still be totally cranky at Santa for disturbing my drunken slumber, dammit. Jolly nice guy or not, I need my sleep and really hate when sleep is disturbed. After raging at Santa again this year, I’d calmly tell him to go borrow the Tempest from Mass Effect Andromeda. A highly advanced spaceship designed for a pioneering Pathfinder’s difficult task would more than adequately help deliver presents here on Earth. It’ll be up to Santa to figure out a way to bring it here all the way from the Andromeda galaxy…. ‘cuz I’m tired and going back to sleep now… zzzz… hic.
